Interactive CD Development
SAU contracted with us to create their admissions CD. We designed it
all in Macromedia Flash with live Web links, Flash movies, and the academic
catalogs for dowload.
Over 12,000 were ordered for a two-year
run. They contacted us this winter for a new design
and run in 2004-05.

Background
Spring Arbor University, founded in 1873, is located in Spring Arbor,
Michigan. There are over 1500 undergraduate students representing
over 30 denominations, as well as 100 graduate students. Spring Arbor
University offers over 50 undergraduate academic programs in the
arts, sciences, theological, and professional studies, as well as
10 advanced degrees.
Challenge
Spring Arbor University needed a low cost alternative to the academic
catalog that it had printed every year. The cost to print and send
a catalog to a potential undergraduate or graduate students was becoming
prohibitive enough to motivate Spring Arbor University to consider
alternatives.
Solution
After contacting Eureka! Multimedia, a proposal was put together involving
a combination print catalog and interactive CD-Rom. Eureka! Would produce
a CD with both Undergraduate and Graduate catalogs in a PDF format.
In addition, Eureka! Would create a 3-5 minute flash presentation,
making the CD interactive with images, text, music, and live Web links
to important pages. The cost for the CD’s, replication, and packaging,
saved Spring Arbor University money, and allowed them to increase the
quantity of catalogs they could send, decrease the cost of postage,
and create a product that few of their competition could match.
Contact us today for a free copy of the CD, or set up an appointment
where we can bring one along with a proposal.
