Web Development
This was the most comprehensive Web project to date. The township needed
something created from the ground up, and we worked with them over
the course of one year to take it from design to completion.
The site features many resources, ordinances,
dowloadable forms and maps, as well as news and history
of Spring Arbor.

Background
Spring Arbor
Township came to a crossroads
where they decided to increase the services to the
people of the township by offering a Web
site. Spring
Arbor Township is a thriving and growing community
in south-central Michigan, near Jackson.
Challenge
A site did not exist, and there was an incredible amount of
content and desire for outcomes. Interactive maps were a challenge, as
well as governmental cooperation in receiving documentation for the Web.
Ordinances and Forms needed to be re-created because they did not exist
in electronic form. SAT also needed a systematic communication structure
set up for
staff to be contacted, as well as partnering with the community
to feature churches, schools, etc.
Solution
Without any direction or specific designs, Eureka! sat town with SAT
staff and crafted a wireframe, site map, and design to work with over
the course of the project. The project was so large, that it literally
took twelve months from inception to completion. A great challenge
was the sheer amount of content that needed to be converted to an electronic
format before even being purposed on the Web. But with a personal relationship
with staff and
commitment to quality and seeing the job finished, www.springarbor.org
went live in January of 2004.
